2️⃣ What do I wear to class?

Depends on the class:

  • Gi Classes: Bring a clean BJJ Gi & belt (or rent one here).
  • No-Gi & Wrestling: Rashguard, no-pocket shorts, compression pants (optional).
  • For every class: Flip-flops (mats stay clean), deodorant (respect your training partners).

3️⃣ Do I need to be in shape to start BJJ?

Nope. Jiu-Jitsu gets you in shape—being in shape is not a requirement.

  • Every class is designed to push you at your own pace.

4️⃣ Will I get hurt?

BJJ is a controlled combat sport. If you train smart, injuries are rare.

5️⃣ How long does a class last?

Most classes run about 60 minutes—short, sharp, and structured:

  • Warm-up (movement & mobility)
  • Technique (drill it till it sticks)
  • Live Training (rolling & application)
